Lecta makes it easy to prepare lecture videos for on demand distribution.
Simply open a video and Lecta will crop it down to only the important parts, 100% automatically.
Lecta is a joint project with Machine Perception and Robotics Group, Chubu University
Simply fix the camera in a position pointing at the blackboard (or white board) and record. Once finished, open the video in Lecta to automatically edit to follow the instructor’s movements.
By cropping the video to just the area around the instructor the file size can be reduced to 1/8th the size of a 1080p video. A reduced file size makes it easier to reach your students, even those with poor network connections.
